The potential to sell beauty and personal care products over the Internet is very significant, and the main objective of the training workshop on 17-18 February is to foster the development and expansion of participating SMEs’ knowledge and skill in digital market aimed at the domestic, regional and global markets. The training will focus on providing real examples of e-driven solutions and success stories from MNCs and local SMEs in the beauty and personal care product sector.
The training program focuses on: (a) the challenges and opportunities for ASEAN and Thai SMEs in the digital space for e-commerce at the domestic, regional and international levels; (b) e-technology, platforms, tools and solutions for digital marketing plus a range of issues associated with the legal and regulatory framework on the use of social media and other e-tools for marketing in the digital space; (c) technology-driven ways and means to optimize consumers’ online experiences, including how to ensure effective customer service and retail distribution; and (d) success stories and experiences in e-retailing of beauty and personal care products as well as in investment ventures in this sector in the CLMV countries.
